The new Coldwell Banker site design is centered around a new and improved search experience. Most times desigers/developers are forced to sacrifice the end user experience, but meeting the demands of their paying client, but CB has realigned their goals. This design is a huge step forward for the real estate industary. An upfront search is the honest approach to building value into the Coldwell Banker experience.


Redesigning a website usually is a painful time crunch, but it doesn't have to be. During this redesign we were able to consider the original source (although incomplete). Coldwell Banker's National design provided great color and gradient styling, but there was still the question of how we were going to build in our functionality into sections and pages that don't exist on the national site.


With a bit of time and a few meetings we created a nice collection of collateral imagery to assist our products and blend them into the new look. This was more than a re-skinning of a few buttons, it became an opportunity to upgrade and out shine the national design, whole maintaining the classic & professional feel created by Coldwell Banker Corporate and taking additional steps to enhance the experience.


When visiting the site the animations and pages will appear differently, more create a lighter page resulting in shorter page load times and better SEO value for the entire site.
