Listmailer v2.0
Icons & Graphics Created for Listmailer v2.0
Working with huge real estate brokerages from around the country is a very large part of my day-to-day workload, but occasionally opportunities to redesign or create new features presents itself. Unofficially named Listmailer v2.0 this product is a major advance in user interface to a fully integrated email assistant. The programming side was improved and the feature set widen to offer more property offerings, but the main focus was to enhance the front-end user experience with improved graphics, such as orientating elements like a navigation bar and icons. This was a challenge in many aspects. Over time people become emotionally invested in the products they service or have built and are very much outside influences in the direction of the overall look of the product. Staying true to the product and the powers that be, colorful icons were used to update the interface. Many of these beautiful icons are free stock icons, but all have been changed and built upon to better tie into the real estate message.
Marketing/Informational images were created to assist with navigation, but are dually used to educate consumers on the product. Like all products Listmailer v2.0 is a powerful tool that adjusts to the particular features of the site. In turn this product has to be flexible to add and remove graphical elements and still maintain the overall design esthetic.
CSS Sprite Navigation (multiple product versions)
User Interface Modules
Product navigation is a main point of discussion on any new digital product and the construction is even more of a concern for designers. Cross-browser compatibility, and load time are just two of the many things that can cause more than a bit of trouble. This navigation dynamically adjusts to the feature set in place while maintaining today's advanced CSS practice of image sprites.
Displayed are the smaller elements that are the core of the product and at the heart of the new feel. Icon keys, saved searches, and saved video tours have been updated to be more user friendly, while other features are a strange result of imagination. One new element is the dynamic agent selector. This literally puts a face to the name of the companies agent roster and pulls in any agents phone, email and personal site profile. This maybe a small feature in a little user account information section, but it shows off the powerful tools that we were able to develop into this new product release.
